Bruce and Evelyn Giles will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 13, 2014. They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Sept. 17, 1964.
Bruce, the son of Arthur and Norine Giles, was born in Ogden, Utah, and raised in Morgan, Utah. He attended Morgan schools, graduating from Morgan High School and LDS Seminary in 1960.
The children of Charles and Jolene Price are proud to announce the 65th wedding anniversary of their parents. They were married on June 15, 1949, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple and have been going strong ever since. Their love for one another has done nothing but grow over the years, and now they are enjoying their golden years content in one another’s company.
Celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary are Allen and LueCree Carrigan of Morgan. They were married on May 16, 1959, in Morgan. They will celebrate by taking a trip to Harrisburg, Oregon, to visit LueCree’ s sister and brother-in-law.
Doug and Bonnie Wright of Mountain Green celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Their children honored them with a dinner at Ruth Chris restaurant. A celebration is planned in their honor June 1; the family will take a cruise to Alaska.
Gerald and Georgia Mikesell celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at their home in Porterville, Utah, with their family. They were married Nov. 18, 1953, in Morgan, Utah. Later their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS temple on June 2, 1965.
Congratulations to Ted and Sandy Carter who are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Ted was raised in Porterville, while Sandy was raised in Rigby, ID. They met while they were both serving a mission for the LDS church in the Great Lakes Mission.
Kenneth W. Nelson and Neeta K. Nelson are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married on May 4, 1963, in the Rock Church in Morgan and they were later sealed in the Ogden Temple.
George and Gwen Francis of Morgan will be honored for their 60th wedding anniversary by their children on Saturday Oct 27, with an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Field Street Church, 240 S. 300 W. in Morgan. The celebration will also be in honor of his 80th birthday. Family and friends are welcome.
Fifty years ago, September 14, Rex and Janeal Wilkinson started their eternal family. Captain of the football team and a dancer on the drill team, these two high school sweethearts were meant to be together. Their love has truly been strengthened through the years.
40 years ago our parents met in Riverton, Utah, when they were both 18 years old. Ken and Chrys Rindlesbach met through a blind date that Ken’s sister and Chrys’ sister set up, because they were in the same ward.

They both grew up in the small town of Superior, Wyo. Both attending school together. It was later at college where they fell in love. They were married on July 7 1962.
Earl and Carole McCain will celebrate 50 years of marriage on June 2, 2012. Earl was born at his parents’ farm home near Tecumseh, Neb., where he graduated from high school before attending the Nebraska State Teachers College in Peru. Carole was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, and was raised in Idaho, Oklahoma, and Oregon before her family relocated to Greeley, Colo., where she graduated from high school and entered Colorado State College.
Sixty years ago Harold and Mary Ellen met, fell in love, and then were married on May 24th. During these past sixty years they have raised three children; Grant (Annette) Laughter, Scott Laughter, and Candy (David) Stevens. They have 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, who are their pride and joy. There will be an open house on May 26 from 5 to 7 p. m. at their home, 830 East 100 South in Morgan. The family would like to invite all friends, neighbors, and acquaintances to come by and help us celebrate their 60 years together. Please, no gifts.
Don and Joan Winn will celebrate 50 years of marriage on May 25, 2012. They met while they were students at Brigham Young University and were married in the Salt Lake Temple in 1962. Don was born in Pocatello and raised in Rexburg, and Joan was born in Salt Lake and raised in East Millcreek.
William and Beverly Dahlquist will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 14, 2012. They were married in Morgan on March 14, 1962. They have resided in Morgan for 47 of those 50 years. They have been actively involved in the local community. Many residents visited the Dahlquist home each year for Bill to prepare their income taxes. Bev delivered newspapers for 14 years in the County; and they owned and operated “Buzzys” and “The Country Café” on Commercial Street until its closing.
The children of Kevin and Nancy Ovard are happy to announce the 40th wedding anniversary of their parents. They were married December 16, 1971 in The Salt Lake Temple. They have lived most of their married life here in Morgan.
Paul and Vanna Carter celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently with their family in Park City, Utah. Each of their children and spouses along with all grandchildren and great grandchildren were able to attend the weekend of fun with the exception of two grandsons serving LDS missions and a deceased great-granddaughter. The group were able to watch the U.S. Olympic Aerial Freestyle Show at Olympic Park as well as other daytime activities such as riding the alpine coaster, frisbee golf at the top of the ski runs, and a family dinner hosted by their children at the Park City Grill.
The children and grandchildren of Keith and Faye Donna Little honored their parents and grandparents on Saturday, June 25th in Ogden. They were celebrating Keith and Faye Donna’s 65th wedding anniversary.
The children of Bill and Kathleen are pleased to announce the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. They were sealed for eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on June 14th, 1961. Their legacy now includes: ten children, 35 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Bob and Karel Mae Dickson will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this month. They were married June 30, 1961 in Morgan Utah. Both Bob and Karel Mae were born and raised in Morgan. They started their family here then moved in 1970 to Vernal, Utah where they still reside.

Gene and Lillian Carter of Morgan will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary and Gene’s 80th birthday on Saturday, March 12 at an open house held at the Morgan LDS Rock Church.
The couple was married March 10, 1950 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later sealed in the St. George LDS Temple on October 16, 1954. Over the years they have both served in many capacities in their church.

Bob was born June 3, 1929 to Fred and Helen Cox in Akron, Ohio.
Arvey was born May 11, 1931 to Wendell and Viola Wolsey in Cardston, Alberta Canada.
She graduated from Weber High School. They were married at the Bertha Eccles Hall on November 24, 1950.
Dale and Pat Wilson will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, November 13, 2010 with an open house at the Porterville LDS Church from 4-6 p.m. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 11, 1960.
Larry & Merle Durrant just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They celebrated with a family dinner at Larry’s Spring Chicken Inn.
Larry and Merle were high school sweethearts. They met at a basketball game between North Summit and Wasatch. Larry was of course playing basketball and Merle was cheer leading. The rest is history!
