William and Beverly Dahlquist will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 14, 2012. They were married in Morgan on March 14, 1962. They have resided in Morgan for 47 of those 50 years. They have been actively involved in the local community. Many residents visited the Dahlquist home each year for Bill to prepare their income taxes. Bev delivered newspapers for 14 years in the County; and they owned and operated “Buzzys” and “The Country Café” on Commercial Street until its closing.

Paul and Vanna Carter celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently with their family in Park City, Utah. Each of their children and spouses along with all grandchildren and great grandchildren were able to attend the weekend of fun with the exception of two grandsons serving LDS missions and a deceased great-granddaughter. The group were able to watch the U.S. Olympic Aerial Freestyle Show at Olympic Park as well as other daytime activities such as riding the alpine coaster, frisbee golf at the top of the ski runs, and a family dinner hosted by their children at the Park City Grill.
The children and grandchildren of Keith and Faye Donna Little honored their parents and grandparents on Saturday, June 25th in Ogden. They were celebrating Keith and Faye Donna’s 65th wedding anniversary.

Their legacy now includes: ten children, 35 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Gene and Lillian Carter of Morgan will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary and Gene’s 80th birthday on Saturday, March 12 at an open house held at the Morgan LDS Rock Church.
The couple was married March 10, 1950 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later sealed in the St. George LDS Temple on October 16, 1954. Over the years they have both served in many capacities in their church.

She graduated from Weber High School. They were married at the Bertha Eccles Hall on November 24, 1950.

Larry & Merle Durrant just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They celebrated with a family dinner at Larry’s Spring Chicken Inn.
Larry and Merle were high school sweethearts. They met at a basketball game between North Summit and Wasatch. Larry was of course playing basketball and Merle was cheer leading. The rest is history!

Marvin and Judy were high school sweethearts at Soda Springs High School. They were married October 29, 1960 and then were sealed May 7, 1967, in the Logan LDS Temple.
