To the people of Morgan County,
What a great community we live in! In this great area people still wave to their neighbors as they are driving by, they care about others, they show unconditional love and support. This was exemplified Saturday night at the Kyler Christiansen benefit through monetary contributions, donations of items, and donation of time and services. I am a transplant from Colorado, but I love living in this valley.
As I went around to different businesses to put up posters or solicit help the response was so positive. People went out of their way to help and find out information about this great little guy. The donations for the silent auction were so generous and greatly appreciated. I am so thankful to everyone who had a part in planning and carrying out this wonderful night. To the entertainers who shared their amazing talents with us we thank you for you willingness to help Kyler and his family. To those of you who came to the event thank you so much. Words cannot express the gratitude that was felt that evening for your support of the Christiansen family.
The best thing that happened was we were able to help the family to pay medical bills and start the process to create a safe, wheelchair accessible house so they can bring Kyler home.
Keep up the awesome spirit of giving and caring for others!
With Love,
Mindy Savage
